Many Boat Insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete AMERICA’S BOATING COURSE and, this basic boating knowledge course will give you the education required to obtain a state boat operator certificate.
Upon completing the test at the end of the course you will receive your Safe Boating Course Certificate. Persons with a NYS Drivers license are eligible to have the ‘Anchor Endorsement’ added to their License.
